Day Three In Beijing. Climbing the great wall was the most rewarding experience, I was blown away by the views and the ridiculus steep steps! I think everyone who made an effort to get as far as possible, were really proud of themselves and can now call themselves 'Great Men' As you got higher up the great wall the air got tinner, and your legs began to burn, but we were determined to reach the highest point. Kat, Braiden, Luka and I, were the first to reach the top! With our crazy wooden woven hats, we cheered in celebration! Before being joined by some more sucessful fellows, laura, adam, shaun, anne-marie, owen and juilet! We then went for a chinese lunch and turned our skills to chop sticks! Some being better than others, the table cloth ended up being rather colourful! Everyone was williing to try every dish put in front of us. In the afternoon we made our way to the national statium (birds Nest) what an impressive arcutectual building. The stadium was busy with visitors, and we enjoyed being able to go up to the boxes to take a look down. In the Evening we went out for food, tryed some pumpkin strips and tryed to order chicken balls, (lets just say they werent what you get in england!) it has been great to have the freedom to go out to restraunts and try out our newly learnt manderin skills, even if we dont end up with the right thing!
